Ingredients are :
1) Bottlegourd /ghiya – ½ kg
2) Salt /namak – as per taste
3) Red chilli powder /lal mirch powder – ½ tsp
4) Tumeric powder /haldi powder – ½ tsp
5) Cumin seeds /jeera – ¼ tsp
6) Tomato /tamatar – 1
7) Clarified butter /ghee – 2 tsp
8) Gram /chana – 1 cup
9) Ginger /adrak – ½ inch piece
