State leaders urged to stick to national COVID exit plan

The states and territories are being urged to stick with the plan to ease COVID restrictions regardless of case numbers. National Cabinet has agreed that once 70 percent of adults have been vaccinated, restrictions will be relaxed and lockdowns used more sparingly. However the worsening outbreaks in NSW and Victoria have some leaders worried.
