Earlier this week, police had to intervene at the Arima to Port of Spain taxi stand on Henry Street, as some drivers were reported to be flouting the regulations.
The Arima to Port of Spain Highway Taxi Drivers Association is urging its members to obey the law in terms of carrying capacity, but says, there's no word from the government on whether anything would be done to assist taxi drivers who are struggling at this time.
