Some medical professionals have been transferred from the Couva Hospital back into the regular healthcare system by the North Central Regional Health Authority. The United National Congress highlighted the situation at a news Conference, claiming it was because of a difference in opinions on how the NCRHA is dealing with certain matters relating to COVID-19. However, the NCRHA says the transfers were based on a request.
