Pakistan's batting coach Younis Khan said he is not in agreement with the way players are selected for the national team across formats.Speaking at a virtual press conference, the former Pakistan captain made it clear that a benchmark needs to be set to pick players for the senior team, particularly batsmen.

ऐसा कुछ दिन नहीं गुजरता जब पाकिस्तान टीम से जुड़ा कोई विवाद सामने न आता हो, हाल में ही पाकिस्तान से साउथ अफ्रीका का दौरा किया और शानदार खेल दिखाया, पहले वनडे सीरीज पर कब्जा जमाया उसके बाद टी20 सीरीज पर भी कब्जा किया, हालांकि पाकिस्तानी बल्लेबाजी की जहां तारीफ हुई वहीं जमकर आलोचना भी हुई, फखर जमां और बाबर आजम के अलावा बाकी बल्लेबाज सीरीज में अपनी छाप छोड़ने में नाकाम रहे और कई बार पाकिस्तानी बल्लेबाजी कॉलेप्स हुई। अब इस पर जब पाकिस्तान के बल्लेबाजी कोच यूनिस खान से सवाल किया गया तो उन्होने चयनकर्ताओं को ही निशाने पर ले लिया।
