Chinese officials dispute claims of human rights abuses

Chinese authorities have hit back at global condemnation of the treatment of ethnic minorities in XinJiang province. At a media conference in Canberra this afternoon, the XinJiang Vice-Governor argued people in his province live a good life and claimed that Western nations aren't telling the truth.
