A larger part of "Soul" is also about inspiration and mentorship. The cast revealed their mentors and the teachers who inspired them. For Fey it was Lorne Michaels, Basset picked Lloyd Richards "I had such regard, such respect I would never call him by his first name like others" and Jamie Foxx' does a spot on impersonation of Quincy Jones.
