The veteran said that just like Rohit hits the ball to boundaries from the very first over, he also wanted to similarly score runs. टीम इंडिया के पूर्व कप्तान सुनील गावस्कर ने बड़ा बयान दिया है. भारतीय ओपनर रोहित शर्मा के बारे में गावस्कर ने कहा है कि वो हिटमैन की तरह बल्लेबाजी करना चाहते. रोहित शर्मा की बल्लेबाजी को देखकर गावस्कर को खूब आनंद मिलता है. सुनील गावस्कर ने इंडिया टुडे इंस्पिरेशन के नए एपिसोड में कहा, 'जिस तरह से आप रोहित शर्मा को वनडे क्रिकेट में बल्लेबाजी करते देखते हैं, पहले ही ओवर से धुनाई करते हैं. ऐसा ही मैं खेलना चाहता था.' बता दें, पिछले साल हुए विश्वकप में हिटमैन का बल्ला खूब चला था और उन्होंने पांच शतक टूर्नामेंट में जड़ दिए थे. इसी वजह से रोहित शर्मा को राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न के अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया है.
