Back again with a single stone instructional video. This one is too easy! Editing the video down to just the instructions would make it too short so i decided to leave the camera rolling a lot more than usual so people learning how its done may benefit from actually watching the work being done in real time. It is essentially a wedding band with a straight sided collet plonked in. I recommend a minimum thickness of 1.1mm for the collet as this gives you distance for filing it up perfectly and have remaining enough thickness to cut a decent setting edge. Don't make it too small for the stone!
With this channel I will share with you the methods and techniques I have learned over the previous 23 years as a professional Jeweller. I specialize in high end bespoke pieces made the old fashioned way by hand. I wish to document everything I know and make accessible to everyone rare skills and techniques only usually taught in high security jewellers workshops
