This is #3 of 3 videos I just took of a Behringer RD-8 I received as a replacement for a damaged one, which had been thrown over the gate where I live. Unlike the first one, this one was put directly into my hands by the driver, but all to no avail. It played only the BD and Ch when I started it up, following a video user guide someone had put on another video hosting site. That video clearly showed the user able to trigger all the sounds on his RD-8.

After playing around with MUTE and SOLO I was able to get a couple more sounds to work ( see clip #2 ), for no logically apparent reason because I did the same to all the sounds, as will be shown in the next and final video.

The Conga and Low Tom exhibit a strange clicking sound, which is not me hitting the pad as you can hear when I hit the pad trying to coax other still not working sounds out of the machine by manipulating Solo and Mute, but I have no idea why one would need to do that in order to access certain sounds.

Clave and Rimshot have a weird sound tail, too low to be described as a hiss. Same for Hi Conga/Hi Tom. And the Hi Tom also exhibits a noise tail, which Low and Mid Toms and Low and Mid Congas do not.

Finally the Kick sounds clicky to me, but that could be normal, I just don't know.
