India has for the first time reported a Covid fatality rate drop below 2.5%. At 2.49%, India’s Covid fatality rate or CFR is 1.78 percentage points lower than the global average. In fact, the national CFR has been progressively dropping since May when it was around 3.2%. What can this be attributed to?
