ಚೀನಾದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ದಿ ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ವರದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಟಿಕ್‌ಟಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಲೋ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ಮೂಲ(Parent) ಕಂಪನಿಯಾದ ಬೈಟ್‌ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ಗೆ ಈ ಆ್ಯಪ್‌ಗಳ ನಿಷೇಧದಿಂದಾಗಿ 6 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ ಡಾಲರ್ (ಸುಮಾರು 45 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ) ವರೆಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಬಹುದು.
