Several affected due to ammonia gas leak in Haryana’s Kurukshetra

An incident of ammonia gas leak was reported from a cold store in Haryana’s Kurukshetra on February 18. Several people are affected and got fainted in Nalvi village at Shahabad of Kurukshetra. The affected people were admitted to the Community Health Center in Shahabad. Panic stricken people complained of breathlessness and a few started vomiting due to gas leakage. The incident took place around 09:30 pm when ammonia gas from Hargobind Cold Store at Shahabad-Thol road leaked and spread to the nearby areas.
