Ray Shafazand is an entrepreneur and Hospitality Consultant from California. Throughout his career in the hospitality industry over the last 23 years, Ray has proven his ability to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies that have led to the success of dozens of businesses. His experience and expertise in the management of restaurants, hotels, bars, and nightclubs contributed to his achievements as a business owner and consultant.

Ray is a multilingual business professional who had built a career as a leader in hospitality. Ray Shafazand is skilled in training and managing staff on comprehensive product knowledge and courteous and professional behavior. After working in various roles in hospitality, including as a Director of Food and Beverage, Ray had the opportunity to take on a leadership position as the owner and manager of Renzo’s Restaurant Group. There, he took the struggling five-location business and managed to improve profits quickly. In the first 30 months, Ray utilized his skills and strategies to grow annual sales from $131,500 to $175 million. He understands the importance of proper training of staff to build positive relationships with customers to increase repeat business.

Since his success in managing the Renzo Restaurant Group, Ray Shafazand began taking over the management of more businesses domestically and internationally. Going on to own and operate various other restaurants, Ray began to find the best formula and the most important factors for running a successful business. Soon, he began working as a Hospitality Consultant providing his expertise to businesses in need. Throughout Silicon Valley, Ray improved the operations and financials of several companies, many of which have received industry acknowledgments.

Having established himself as an effective business manager in California and the US, Ray Shafazand has begun to work with businesses internationally. Some of the companies he has consulted with include the Shangri La Hotel of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Le Bua Hotel of Bangkok, Thailand, and the Winchester Hotel and Restaurant of Pattaya, Thailand. Ray has also begun to take an interest in running businesses outside of the hospitality industry as an investor in distressed real estate properties. Additionally, Ray owned Shafazand Furniture of Los Gatos, California.
