Country Artist Denny Strickland was raised in Arkansas. He gained discipline and self assurance as a competitive horse rider in his youth. At one event he met legend Johnny Cash's bassist Marshall Grant. Grant took Strickland under his wing and helped transform the small country boy into a big time talent.
