Gouge Restoration Video

I recently picked up this old 1 inch gouge, and it had a large chip in the handle. Rather than making a new handle and losing the history built into that handle, I simply fixed it by cutting out the chip and placing a dutchman and shaping it back to the original shape. The result was better than I expected!
