"Junk Science" highlights the array of faulty forensic and medical evidence and testimony offered by the State of Texas in the wrongful conviction of Rodney Reed. From improper evidence collection techniques, to damning medical testimony that was contradictory to the actual autopsy report, Reed's trial was fraught with misconduct and outright lies. Incomplete tests were testified as complete, injuries were exaggerated, exculpatory evidence was suppressed, and simple commonly known forensic principals were ignored -- all in the effort to convict to an innocent man.
