Leaves 2 Dead and 17 Injured A knife-wielding man attacked a group of
children in Kawasaki, Japan, on Tuesday morning. The elementary school children were
boarding a school bus at around 7:45am
local time when the attack occurred. An 11-year-old student, Hanako Kuribayashi, and
a 39-year-old father, Satoshi Oyama, were killed. The suspect, a man in his 50s, stabbed himself
following the incident and later died of his injuries. Shinzō Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan,
has released a statement condemning the attack. Shinzō Abe,
via ‘BBC News’ Donald Trump, who was in Japan at the time
