Hopkins was an English keyboard player who recorded and performed with many British and American bands including the Stones, Kinks, the Who, the Jeff Beck group, Quicksilver (of course), the Jefferson Airplane (at Woodstock), the New Riders of the Purple Sage, Steve Miller, Donovan, the Jerry Garcia band, Cat Stevens,Carly Simons, Joe Cocker, Graham Parker, Peter Frampton... Plus individual projects by John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
