There are have been many great eras in fashion. Some might say that this current era is quite amazing itself. But indubitably, one of the very greatest and arguably most iconic and memorable periods in fashion and style was almost certainly the mid-nineteen hundreds, in other words the 1940s and 1950s. One could argue quite rather absolutely that the aesthetic of that era was rather astonishing. Indeed, Frank Zweegers finds this specific era to be the most notable inspiration for his own passion in photography. From the point of view of today, so much from that period in time seems just so foreign, and yet at the same time it all seems so familiar as well, rendering it just about the most astonishing time of the last century to look at.

When it comes to being an instructor in the complex and multifaceted art that is photography, it becomes extremely paramount to be capable of drawing upon inspiration from other remarkable masters within this artform. Looking at the images in the video, it becomes very clear where Frank Zweegers draws upon for inspiration. Contemplate for a moment or two the subjects of the above images, their expressions, their poses and, of course, most importantly, their outfits. When it comes to analysing photography, all of these elements are highly important to consider and bear in mind. And for sure, it is highly fascinating to be able to observe and meditate upon the assorted outfits that were in vogue back in the day. There is hardly anything that could be more amazing than the breath-taking cardigan that the man in one of the photographs is donning, for example.

When Frank Zweegers is engaged in teaching photography, he typically utilises these images, among a great selection of others, to assist him in illustrating a number of photography techniques that the average amateur may very well be rather unfamiliar with. It may very well be the case that the best way to learn photography is to get out there and snap some photos, but in the cases we see here it becomes clear that photography is also an art that requires a certain quantity of manipulation on the part of the photographer, as he or she gets the models or subjects of the photograph to pose in a particular way or as he or she seeks to get the background just right.

If you find yourself at least somewhat eager to discover more about the world of photography, it would certainly be a valid idea to attempt to attend a class of Frank Zweegers’, seeing as he has long held a passion for photography for an extremely long time and also has significant exposure to the amazing world of fine art, which in no small way influences his thoughts on photography as well. Indeed, his students leave with a wealth of knowledge that they then employ towards building amazing portfolios. It is very nearly a given fact that you will enjoy learning about photography and will be able to make progress quickly, even if you have absolutely no knowledge in the present state of things.
