How to Keep Your Cute Cat Healthy and Happy

In observance of National Cat Health Month, Vanessa Cornwall from Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is here to remind you that even if your cat does not appear to be sick, preventative care is important.
A general rule of thumb for litter boxes is one for each of your cats, plus one more. For instance, if you have 2 cats, you should have 3 litter boxes.
A change in litter habits could indicate the cat has a urinary tract infection or other medical issue.
Even indoor cats need protection from vaccines.
Spaying and neutering can prevent uterine infections, ovarian cancers and mammary tumors in female cats and testicular cancer and some prostate problems in males.
