Kristaps Porzingis Welcome To The Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are the talk of the NBA after making the biggest splash of the trade season on January 31. The team sent Smith, Jordan, Wesley Matthews and two future first round picks to the Knicks. In return, the Mavs landed Kristaps Porzingis also known as the Unicorn, Tim Hardaway Jr., Courtney Lee and Trey Burke. This deal has the possibility to change the course of the franchise for years to come. Porzingis will not start until the ’19-20 season since he is recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. Porzingis said the last 48 hours since he has been in Dallas has given him a lot of insight about the team.
