Basketball coach Randy Rawlings is beginning to win over the boys on the team, especially a beautiful little blonde bombshell named Jack Ripley (RIPLEY?!) played by Michael Biehn. This part of the movie is a bit tug at the collar uncomfortable for me, but then again, there are much more offensive movies out there (A Serbian Film, Salo, The Human Centipede, The Saw movies, anyone?), and the fact is, 40 years ago, people really didn't have the same hawkeye awareness of the impropriety of a scenario like this. COACH is a cute movie that does not have any gross exploitation of women. Again, it's nearly a Disney film, save for a few seconds of a group of young women lifting their shirts as a joke, and one use of the sh word.
