Trump Uses Jill Abramson's Remark To Again Call New York Times 'Enemy Of The People'

President Trump again went after the New York Times on Saturday.

President Trump has cited comments made by former New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson to slam what he calls the Times' "horrible and totally dishonest reporting."
In a tweet Saturday, Trump seems to reference a Fox News article describing Abramson's portrayal of the Times as having an "''unmistakably anti-Trump' bias."
Trump then adds the message: "Ms. Abramson is 100% correct. Horrible and totally dishonest reporting on almost everything they write. Hence the term Fake News, Enemy of the People, and Opposition Party!"
In the Fox News piece, Howard Kurtz shares an excerpt of Abramson's forthcoming book, "Merchants of Truth," where she criticizes her successor Dean Baquet.
She reportedly writes: "Though Baquet said publicly he didn't want the Times to be the opposition party, his news pages were unmistakably anti-Trump...Some headlines contained raw opinion, as did some of the stories that were labeled as news analysis."
Abramson was ousted from the publication in May 2014 after being its first female executive editor.
She has, in the past, attributed the dismissal to her management style, calling herself a "hard-charging editor."
Abramson recently spoke out about the controversy surrounding her book and Kurtz's Fox News piece about it.
In an email to Politico, she said: "His article is an attempt to Foxify my book, which is full of praise for The Times and The Washington Post and their coverage of Trump."
