Tesla Reaches Goal Of 5,000 Model 3s

In the last week of its second quarter, Tesla produced nearly 5,000 Model 3 electric sedans. Auto News reported that the final car rolled off the assembly line on Sunday morning. That was only several hours after the midnight goal for 5,000 cars set by CEO Elon Musk. The 5,000th car finished final quality checks at the Fremont, California. It's unclear if Tesla will manage to maintain this productivity level in the future.
