This dramatic footage shows the moment a Mazda MX-5 was in collision with a police car - before both vehicles burst into flames. Robson Green, 22, managed to clamber out of the wreckage uninjured and could only watch on as his car burned to a shell in a matter of minutes. Footage shows fierce orange flames engulfing the car after the fuel tank burst open and set alight. Plumes of thick black smoke can also be seen spewing from both vehicles as the fire takes hold. Robson, from Bolsover, Derbs., was travelling with his partner's 19-year-old brother, Aaron Cousins, in his car, which costs approximately £1,000, between Cubley, south Yorks., to Ashbourne, Derbs., when traffic came to a standstill.
