Renault-Nissan And Mitsubishi Start Mobility Consortium Through Fund

The Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi are pooling together $200 million for a new mobility tech fund.
According to three sources, the major carmakers are looking to adapt as the automotive industry shifts towards mobility.
Since startups are beginning to develop new means for personal mobility, and not vehicular travel, the Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi will act as a consortium.
A major announcement for the plan is slated for the CES tech industry show in mid-January.
