NYPD: Dye Back Exploded in Robber's Hand !

A male suspect made it only a few feet out of the door of a bank in Gramercy Park area of Manhattan before a red dye pack in the money he stole exploded. The bank robbery occurred around noon today (9/5/17) on E23 St & 3 AVE. The police are still looking for the suspect. So far, the description for him is a light skinned, 6 ft male in his 30's. He is also described as having light facial hair.
