Vice President Pence arrived in Brussels, Belgium for talks with European Council chiefs amid anti-Trump administration protests in the U.S. "Today it is my privilege on behalf of President Trump to express the strong commitment of the United States to continued cooperation and partnership with the European Union," Pence said during his speech. Pence reassured EU president Donald Tusk of America's commitment to working together regarding matters of security and economy. "Too much has happened over the past month in your country and in the EU...for us to pretend that everything is as it used to be," the former Polish prime minister said in response.
