China’s ministry of commerce claims EU tariffs violate WTO rules

China has hit back at the EU’s decision to raise tariffs on Chinese Electric Vehicles saying it may be in violation of World Trade Organisation rules and constitutes protectionism. China’s ministry of commerce says the move lacks a factual and legal basis.
