David has directed over sixty-five professional productions throughout his thirty years in the industry. Significant positions David has held have both been artistic, managerial and executive. Most recently David was CEO of Metro Arts Brisbane (2014-15) and before that Head of Performance Practices NIDA. (2012-14). Additionally, David was Artistic Director/CEO of Northern Ireland’s longest running educational theatre company – Replay Theatre Company. Recently David produced The Empty City , which made its world premiere at the Brisbane Powerhouse in 2013, followed by a season at the Awesome Festival, in Western Australia. Additionally, he premiered his adaption of Oscar Wilde’s De Profundis to a sell-out season at Brisbane Powerhouse 2015 through The Human Company, a Brisbane based independent theatre company specialising in live and digital performance.
