Part of the Pasadena house project we posted about on Friday included a selective demolition of the bathroom. Usually associated with renovations, a "selective demolition" just means that not everything was taken out. In this case we took apart the bathroom cabinets, vanity, shower, and tub but left the main structure intact. Working in this fashion is ideal for when a homeowner wants to make layout or design changes to a space. Demolishing only what's necessary will keep the project running faster, and in most cases will end up being a little cheaper!
