230 artists from Turkey and 38 artists from 6 different continents of the world participated in the Biennale with their works. Participartion from 18 countries made this Biennale to reach a wide range of people. Foreign artist guests had the opportunity of painting the natural and historical beauties of Turkey. They had met local artists in different cities of Turkey and during their workshops had shared their knowledge and experiences with many young artists. The participating foreign artists had been in Istanbul, Çanakkale, Izmir, Pamukkale (Denizli) and Konya other than Cappadocia and took sight seeing tours in these regions. On May 1, in cooperation with the Municipality of Güzelbahçe (which means beautiful garden in English) IWS organized a welcoming event for the foreign artists in Güzelbahçe (Izmir). The artists realized live performances and their paintings were exhibited after the live performance session. Our annual catalogue of 2014 includes works of the successful contestants, paintings of the master artist jurors from different countries and also paintings of other world wide known master artists. The catalogue were presented to the attending artists during the Biennale and they were all pleased that their paintings included. The catalogue also mailed to the other artists whose paintings are in it. The IWS 2014 Catalogue has reached 247 artists from 60 countries of the world, and it became known by art circles in their regions. Opening and Award Ceremonies of the Biennale were realized at the University of Nevşehir with the attendance of the city protocole, artists, art lovers and students. Seven winners of the contest were awarded. Various gifts were presented to them. IWS made printings of some paintings on canvas so that transportation and framing problemse were solved. The exhibition including 220 pantings of national and international artists was gained great attraction and admiration. The participants took sightseing tours in Cappadocia and made the paintings of the region during plein air painting live performances. Many artists from various cultures came together and had the chance of knowing each other during International Universal Love Through Art Biennale and The Contest of Young Artists. This provided a great support to the cultural and art life of the region. This event brought many worldwide known master artists together with art lovers of Turkey and young artists and by this occasion local artists had the chance of expressing themselves through their works. Due to the very important artists were brought together in Turkey by IWS, our event attracted the attention of the international watercolor circles. This event also provided a great presentation of the art, history, natural beauties, cultural values of Cappadocia and by this it provided a great support to the culture and tourism of Turkey. International "The Artist of Watercolor" Magazine reserved 10 pages for the article on this event of IWS.
