Hey, welcome back to moviequips highlights. I'm Stephen Bourne and here are your new movie highlights for May 6th to the 12th:

First up, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is the latest installment in the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the second sequel of the 2011 film, Captain America: The First Avenger. Chris Evans stars as the title super soldier, whose allegiance to the Avengers is tested by an old loyalty as well as calls for political oversight of the super hero team. Captain America: Civil War co-stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Sebastian Stan, and screens at all Cineplex and Landmark Cinemas here in Ottawa.

CEMETERY OF SPLENDOUR is a 2015 drama from Thailand, from three-time Cannes Film Festival award-winner Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Jenjira Pongpas stars as a clinical nurse given no choice but to rely on a psychic in helping a unit of soldiers suffering from a mysterious illness. Cemetery Of Splendour won Best Film at last year's Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Australia, and screens here with English subtitles at Ottawa's ByTowne Cinema.

GHOST TOWN TO HAVANA is a 2015 U.S.-Cuba co-produced sports documentary from veteran writer-director Eugene Corr. The film follows two amateur youth baseball coaches from very different countries who work to break down the barriers that stop their teams from playing each other. Ghost Town To Havana screens here in Ottawa at Carleton University's River Building Theatre as part of the Canadian Film Institute's Latin American Film Festival, now on.

Next up, GRUBER IS LEAVING is a 2015 Austrian drama from award-winning director Marie Kreutzer, based on author Doris Knecht's 2011 book of the same name. Manuel Rubey stars as a narcissistic high roller overwhelmed by the sudden need to change his ways after being given life-shattering news. Gruber Is Leaving screens here with English subtitles at the ByTowne Cinema as part of the German Language Film Festival.

HOW TO PLAN AN ORGY IN A SMALL TOWN is a Canadian farce from two-time Canadian Comedy Award-winner Jeremy LaLonde. When a sex advice columnist grudgingly returns to her uptight home town, old wounds and financial misfortune inspire raunchy revenge. How To Plan An Orgy In A Small Town stars Jewel Staite and Katharine Isabelle, and screens here for a limited run at Ottawa's Mayfair Theatre.

LOUDER THAN BOMBS is an English-language Norway-France-Denmark co-production from internationally acclaimed director Joachim Trier. Gabriel Byrne and Jesse Eisenberg co-star as a father and son still struggling with the lingering traumatic loss of their dysfunctional family's renowned matriarch. Louder Than Bombs was a Palme d'Or nominee at last year's Cannes Film Festival, and also screens here at the Mayfair Theatre.

And lastly, MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS is a drama from debuting feature director Paul Duddridge, co-starring Susan Sarandon, Sharon Stone and Christina Ricci. Here, the often complicated relationships women have with their daughters are insightfully captured by a portrait photographer. Mothers And Daughters also co-stars Selma Blair, Mira Sorvino and Ashanti, and screens here at Rainbow Cinemas Ottawa.
