At the margins of a small and charming French tourist town, the emergency reception centre for refugees stands, far from everything. A few families have been living there for many years. As children go to school and study diligently to become “French”, their quiet, serious parents hope to convince the French government to grant them asylum. One day, the centre closes down... In less than a year these families will become homeless.
