Venezuela: Mother of Two Receives Key to Millionth Home

On Wednesday, the key to the one millionth home built as part of the country’s socially based housing program was turned over to a 40-year old social worker and mother of two by President Nicolas Maduro. Since the program was initiated by former President Hugo Chavez in 2011, Venezuela has provided financing and infrastructure for residents to build their own homes in one of the country’s most successful endeavors.
