Mom’s clever plan to swap swimming with an airport trip

This little boy's mom had promised a fun day at the pool, and he couldn't wait. He bounced in his seat and could already smell the chlorine and feel the cool water splash on his skin.  But as they zipped down the road, Mom took his Mom grinned and announced that they weren't going swimming; they were going to the to the airport. His jaw dropped.  The pool was forgotten in a flash. An airport? That meant adventures, faraway places, and maybe even airplanes!
