Anyway, Shiro was sick, thus Soroi had to take a day off work, leaving Ragyo and Soichiro (they're still divorced but they still love each other and will likely get back together when the kids are older) to leave the kids with Rei, who decides to send the kids on a beer run. Needless to say, they aren't too happy about that.
