Venezuela:PSUV Accuses Opposition of Vote Buying

The ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has accused the right-wing opposition of vote buying in the southern state of Amazonas in the December 6 legislative elections and has called for an official investigation. The PSUV said it has a video recording of Amazonas Interior Minister Victoria Franchi discussing vote buying with an unidentified individual. The opposition, which gained a comfortable majority in the elections, has denied the accusations. teleSUR
