He went to Clarke elementary school, then South Laurel Middle School and finished school at Laurel Highlands Senior High. He went to college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelors degree in natural sciences. He continued his education into the field of podiatry and graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
