Bilanc tragjik nga aksidentet ne Lezhë. Vetëm ne harkun kohore te 24 orëve te fundit janë shënuar dy aksidente me një te vdekur dhe 11 te plagosur. Aksidenti i pare ndodhi mbrëmjen e se hënës, pranë kryqëzimit te Kosovës, ku një automjet doli nga rruga duke shkaktuar vdekjen e një fëmije 10 vjeçar. Ne makine ndodheshin 7 persona qe po ktheheshin nga Tirana kur drejtuesi i automjetit ka dale nga rruga duke përfunduar ne kanal. Ngjarja e dyte ndodhi ne vendin "Kënella e Shëngjinit". Përplasja e automjeteve ka qene e forte, aq sa një prej drejtuesve mbeti ne makine për rreth dy pre pasi mjeti kishte pësuar dëme te mëdha dhe i kishte zënë trupin. Ne vendngjarje ka qene i pranishëm edhe drejtori i përgjithshëm i policisë rrugore Vullnet Topallaj, deri ne nxjerrjen e trupit te 21-vjeçarit Blerim Aliaj, qe fatmirësisht i ka mbijetuar aksidentit. Sipas policisë, shkak i dy aksidenteve ka qene shpejtësia e madhe me te cilën po udhëtonin automjetet. Sezoni turistik rrit fluksin e lëvizjes se udhëtareve e për pasoje numri i aksidenteve gjate kësaj periudhe arrin piken me te larte.
