Costa Rica and U.S. Cooperate in Fighting Drug Trade

Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solis met with U.S. anti-drug officials to strengthen cooperation in fighting the drug trade in Central America. Authorities have seized more than eleven tons of cocaine this year, and crime is also on the rise with 426 homicides to date. Authorities estimate that 45% of the murders that have taken place this year are drug related. teleSUR
