The number of dengue fever cases reached 9,862 on Sept. 15. One day earlier, the Executive Yuan established a central command center after the number of cases in Kaohsiung City surpassed 1,000. Meanwhile, the first case of dengue fever in Taitung County was confirmed.
登革熱疫情，全國病例15號累計到9862，但高雄市病例已經破千，中央確定成立中央指揮中心。另外全台原本只剩台東沒登革熱病例，14號也有1名女學生確診，顯示全台灣都淪陷。
