Mr. Darda was also elected in 2003 in Nagpur as a member of Regional Direct Taxes Advisory Committee (RDTAC) and member of Committee on Petitions. On July 2004, he was re-elected for the second term to Rajya Sabha and became an onwards member of Indo-US Parliamentary Forum and of Indo-Pakistan Parliamentary Forum.
