Mikel Arteta - Arsenal's Underrated

This is a video I put together showing Arsenal's current club captain - Mikel Arteta.
Upto this point, Arteta has been an important man for Arsenal since his arrival from Everton. Arteta has altered his game from an attacking midfielder to a more defensive, deep-lying midfielder role. Even without a natural defensive midfielder in the side, Arteta has played the role so well most of the time that Arsenal rarely get dispossessed due to his dictating of play and reading of the game off the ball. His influence often goes unnoticed to the majority but he is a key presence on and off the field for the Arsenal squad.
Mikel has just signed a 1 year extension in his contract, so let's hope he can stay fit and continue to inject his undervalued deep-lying technical genius and experience to give Arsenal the edge. Things may get interesting as Francis Coquelin is proving himself in the Arsenal team and rumours say Arsenal are looking for another deep-lying midfielder of some sort.
