The Palestinian population in both the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip are excited over the upcoming internal elections for Al Fateh, the largest current within the Palestine Liberation Organization. The Fateh elections are widely viewed as an opening for general Palestinian elections, whose date has still not been chosen.
