The chicken that recently created buzz by wandering on the Bay Bridge during morning rush hour has reportedly been claimed by three people who called in to the Oakland Animal Shelter where she is being held; none have shown up with proof thus far.
A chicken that was recently caught wandering around the Bay Bridge has been claimed--by multiple people.
According to the Oakland Animal Shelter where the bird is being held, three separate calls were received about the rescue being their lost chicken.
A director with the shelter confirms, “She's a very popular chicken… We've told them to come down with proof.”
Since the bird does not have a tag, collar, or microchip, prospective owners are being asked to bring in photos as evidence.
