Palestine – Hamas Captures Israeli Drone, Makes It Operational

Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades reported on Wednesday that they had taken over an Israeli drone in July and rebuilt it to make it operational. The announcement was supported by a video broadcast by the pro-Hamas Al-Aqsa TV channel. Their statement confirmed that an Israeli SKYLARK1 drone was downed on July 22, 2015. The achievement is dedicated to Palestinian youth. Some fear that Hamas’s recent technological advances may serve as a pretext for another Israeli military onslaught.
