The Honduran National University is under the control of military police that put an end to protests by students occupying the facilities demanding a dialogue with educational authorities and participation in academic decisions. The week long occupation was quashed by police and troops on Sunday night without any of the students' demands being met. Students are now deciding what future actions they will be taking.
