The United Front of Ecuador, comprised of 14 political organizations, is participating in President Rafael Correa's national debate on equality and social justice. The opposition has not only rejected the dialogue but has called for a strike and in the case of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities (CONAIE) an "uprising" on August 10. However many indigenous organizations have rejected the CONAIE's stance and are calling their own indigenous assembly. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito. teleSUR
